Born and reared in Chester, Mr. McGinn resided in the city most of his life. He attended Archmere Academy for three years, graduating from St. James High School. He was a graduate of Goldey-Beacom Business School. Mr. McGinn was employed by Westinghouse, Sun Ship & Dry Dock Co. and Penn Ship. After retirement, he worked at Sweeney's Tavern and the Star Bar. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Mr. McGinn was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed football and baseball. He also liked to hunt and fish. He was the son of the late Jeanette Blanton McGinn. Survivors: Daughter, Tracey Leigh McGinn of Trainer; father, Thomas M. McGinn Sr. of Phoenix; brothers, Joseph M. McGinn of Linwood, Robert T. McGinn of Wildwood, N.J.; sisters, Jeanie Griffiths of Phoenix, Janice Benicky of Atlanta; several grandchildren; Marie and Brian, owners of the Star Bar, who helped with his care. Service: 1 p.m. Saturday at the Star Bar, Marcus Hook. Contributions: Startenders, 1018 Market St., Marcus Hook, PA 19061. Arrangements: Kaniefski-Kendus-D'Anjolell Memorial Home, Trainer.
